This wedding was so special to me for so many reasons. One– Anna is one of my brother’s best and oldest friends. Two– This wedding was small, intimate, meaningful, and so fun! Three– Anna & Tyler chose June 6th because that is Anna’s parents’ AND grandparents’ anniversary. And four– this wedding was supposed to be a big, New Orleans hotel ballroom affair and they had to call an audible fairly last minute and change locations because of the pandemic. Anna & Tyler made the absolute best of it with smiles on their faces and it was incredible! If you scroll down and wonder what that beautiful church is, it’s St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Honey Creek just west of Bulverde.

This week I have been insanely busy with the most fun little project… “social distancing” family mini sessions or “quarantine” portraits as I like to call them! So far, I have photographed over 30 families right here in my neighborhood on their front porches or somewhere in their front yards. Maintaining a great distance between myself and them, I have loved meeting so many new neighbors and capturing a glimpse of what this time in their lives looks like. Take a look at these awesome families, and how several of them REALLY had fun with this!

This was seriously the sweetest and easiest newborn session! This family is so precious I can hardly take it! And just the four most well behaved, wonderful kiddos ever.

My little brother is all grown up and gettin’ hitched, y’all! And I am getting another sister! I couldn’t have been more honored to capture their engagement photos. And man are they photogenic! Kinda wish I could be their wedding photographer, but I will be too busy being a bridesmaid! Ack, so honored again! Sweet baby brother, Bradley, you are going to be the most wonderful husband and father. You were born to do this, kiddo. Darling Hanna, I am so excited to have you as a sister!

Wow, what an amazing newborn shoot this was! I’ve known Tiffany & Nathan, gosh, almost fourteen years now. Luke here is a very special rainbow baby, as one of his big sisters was born into the arms of angels over three years ago. His oldest big sister, whose newborn photos I also had the privilege of shooting, is the sweetest, most loving, precious girl ever! I just adore these images of this wonderful family!

Sweet William is Baby #3 for one of my dear college roomies and her husband! I have also had the joy of photographing their first two babes as newborns. It has been so special to capture this growing family throughout the years, especially since I have known Ann & James for like 15 years!

This was such a cool newborn session I got to do a few weeks back! Twins, Vance & Lucia have the most artistic, creative parents… I cannot wait to see the artistic things these two will surely do and make in life. They were so teeny tiny and precious. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot…

Here are some highlights from my Fall mini sessions in San Antonio for 2018! I did not get to shoot nearly as many as I would have liked, but I was a little busy having a baby ;o) And for that reason I also did not get up to Dallas or over to Houston for any sessions either! But I am already gearing up to go this Spring and I cannot wait! I shot most of these over the course of one weekend… usually my entire Fall season is filled with mini sessions and I am hoping to get back to that in 2019!

As a boy mom, I really love getting to do girl newborn shoots =) It’s so fun to bust out the pink blankets and headbands. Little Miss Mollie was so great for her newborn session… she slept pretty much the entire time and even cracked a few smiles! Plus big sister Maya the golden retriever was a gorgeous subject too =)
